Measuring Temperature

The temperature probe to be used is 18b20

It is possible to monitor temperature at up to three points using the 18b20 probes. These are typically waterproof and can therefore also be used to measure the temperature outside or of your fridge or not least the water in your tank.

Each probe must be connected in parallel on pins 4 5 and 6.

Typically, the colours of the probe wires are:

Red = Vcc = pin 4

Yellow = Date = pin 5

Black = GND = pin 6

To measure temperature, the CamperCheck must be powered by its pins 1 and 3.
