Connect to your Access Point
Use the Hot Spot's wifi network
In this case, the CamperCheck is connected to the WiFi network of the Camper's Access Point.
It will attempt to access the Cloud via DATA ACCESS.
If there is no Internet coverage, the Cloud cannot be reached.
The CamperCheck cannot be reached via the Internet because there is no reception.
The CamperCheck cannot be reached directly because it is connected to the Access Point and is therefore connected to the local Camper network.
To reach it, we have to be part of its own network, so we have to connect the phone to the Camper's wifi network.
To do this, we enable WiFi and connect.
Use a Wi-Fi network scanner app
Search for the IP address of the CamperCheck
Use your preferred APP to scan the WiFi network you are connected to.
Search for all devices on the Local Area Network.
Press “Discover devices” and view the list.
Note the IP address of the CamperCheck
This is the address to reach it
Once the network has been scanned, you will be returned with a list of all devices connected to it.
Each device has its own address.
This address is called the “IP address”.
The CamperCheck will be identified by the name shellyuni-xxxxx
In our example, the IP address of the CamperCheck is 192.168.43.22
Access CamperCheck with your browser
Reach him at his IP address
By typing the previously noted IP address into the address bar of your favourite browser, you will access CamperCheck.
The CamperCheck will display a screen similar to the one in the App.
This will give us direct access to CamperCheck via the local network.
Internet connection will not be necessary.
All functions remain available similarly to the APP.
