Connection Types
Although the typical use will be from Remote, CamperCheck provides no less than 3 types of connection.
Remote use
If you want to use the CamperCheck, and the entire home automation system in your motor home, remotely, you will need internet access. This access will allow you to send data to the Shelly Cloud that is made available free of charge. In this way all data will be exchanged via the Cloud and you will be able to manage your CamperCheck remotely.
The simplest use is with a direct connection
If you only want to use the CamperCheck locally and have the display of battery voltages, temperatures etc. on your mobile phone, you can simply connect to its wifi without doing anything else.
Local use with Access Point
If you only want to use the CamperCheck locally, but you also have other Shelly devices, you can use a wifi access point to transfer the data of the entire system to your mobile phone. In this way, even if the CamperCheck and all the other Shelly devices are located in different places in the Camper, they can all be considered to be wired together. This will make it possible to condition, for example, the use of a Shelly device to the battery voltage read by the CamperCheck.
